Canadian Set #3 is Here!

Important note about the Canadian Set #3
We have the sets, but we have to settle up some details with Rapido.
So please don't stop by the office to pick them up, we can't give it to you yet.
We'll call to let you know when you can pick it up if that's what you plan to do.

We're looking for Donald Cook, Stewart Gilmer, Robert Lawton and John Storer. If you know any of these customers, please have them contact us at modeltrains@truelinetrains.ca

We learned a few things from Set #2. To keep surprises at a minimum, here's how this will work:

We have 30 sets and orders were placed for 31. Last time several people opted not to purchase their sets from us so we're hoping this won't be a problem. This is better than Set #2 where we were six sets short.

We are only offering to fill this order for you. You do not have to purchase it from us. We know there aren't a lot of other options, but this is the best we can do. We also have no problem if you should choose to purchase it elsewhere. Please do what works best for you.

We will be honoring a 25% ($375) deposit. We know that most of you paid more, and several paid in full. Again, we didn't take your order, nor did we receive that money. For various reasons that's all we can cover, and we won't be discussing it. We have a 'No Haggle' policy. We're not trying to be jerks (we probably don't have to try), just stay in business. It's entirely possible as a good customer of your preferred dealer that they might be able to work something out for you.

We must receive payment for these sets by Friday, November 16. After that we have to return any remaining sets and will not be able to fill the order for you. We are not 'cancelling' your order. We do not hold your order, and are only offering to fill it for you. After that date, we just won't be the ones to do it.

We appreciate your understanding and working with us, whether you decide to purchase the model through us or not. We understand that you may be losing money in this transaction, and we wish we could do more.
